WHEAT BRAN

Wheat bran - a byproduct of milling production, which is a hard shell wheat. This is a valuable food for all kinds of farm animals. Nutritional cuts depends on the content of mealy particles (smaller and more flour shells, the lower the nutritional value), is a rich source of B vitamins B, contain many nutrients, starch, protein and minerals, are an excellent source of dietary fiber.

1 kg of wheat bran contains on average 0.75 feed units, 8.8-9.2 MJ metabolizable energy, 151 g of digestible protein, 2.0 grams of calcium, 9.6 g of phosphorus and others. Wheat bran is rich in trace elements and vitamins of group B. The chemical composition and nutritional value of wheat bran better than rye and even more than rice.

Wheat bran is a good food for all species.

Dairy cows different types of bran can be fed up to 4-6 kg per day. Horses can be fed only wheat bran to 30-50% of normal oats. Pigs and poultry is used less than other animals nutrient bran.

In feed rations and feed mixtures containing cuts in number: for cattle - 30-40% (wheat) to 10-20% (rye); sheep - up to 20% (wheat) to 10% (rye); poultry (adult) - 15%; for young chickens 8 -week age, ducks and geese from age 4 -week - to 5%; for pigs - up to 10-15%; horses - up to 10% and for rabbits - up to 15% (by weight).

Odor: peculiar bran without extraneous odors that are not musty, not moldy;

Acid number of fat, mg KOH less than 50.0;

Weight metallomagnetic impurities mg in 1 kg cuts, not more:

- Particles as small as 2 mm including 5.0;

- particles larger than 2 mm and with sharp edges - not allowed;

Contamination and pollution pests - not allowed;

Toxicity - not allowed;

Granule diameter: 8-12 mm.
